**7. ** Daksha, the best of the knowers of dharma, joyfully gave them to Chandra (the Moon), the producer of nectar, Soma, the brother of Shri Devi (Lakshmi).

Then Chandra, going to the earth, created a very pure tīrtha, which removes all sins, is meritorious, health-giving, and wondrous.
