The Sadguru said:
King Daśaratha, though famous in the three worlds, did not attain the happiness of a son and was thus distressed. By propitiating the Lord of Raṅga, Acyuta, with a sacrifice, he indeed obtained that very Lord as his son, Rāmacandra.

This verse introduces the divine origin of the narrative, establishing that Śrī Rāmacandra is the very Lord of Raṅga (Acyuta) who incarnated to fulfill the prayers of King Daśaratha. It sets the devotional tone by identifying the protagonist not merely as a king, but as the Supreme Lord Himself.
